Sara received her Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation at San Francisco State University (1996), and her Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration at California State University Hayward (2006). Sara is also a graduate from Leadership Hayward, Emerge, and University of Pittsburgh's Intergenerational Specialist leadership training programs.
