Daniel Flores for SF Superior Court Judge

Daniel was born and raised in San Francisco to immigrants from El Salvador.He grew up in the Excelsior District—just a few blocks from where he and his wife now live with their two young children.

Working class, Union background – Daniel’s father was a union member for thirty years and two of Daniel’s uncles currently work in San Francisco hotels, and have each been members of Local 2 for over twenty-five years.

Military Service – Daniel served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for six years. He attributes much of his success to putting into action the motto: Improvise, Adapt and Overcome.

He received his bachelor’s degree from California State University,Sacramento completing his coursework in just two and a half years at the age of 21. Thereafter, Daniel Flores enrolled at McGeorge School of Law on a scholarship where he received his legal education and later graduated with honors.

While in law school, Daniel interned at La Raza Centro Legal in the Mission and was later a summer associate with Ropers, Majeski, Kohn, & Bentley.
